We are currently looking for new members to join our ranks.  Please don't think that you may not have the time to make a commitment.  We are like you with responsibilities to families, work, school, etc.:

• Be between the ages of 16 and 18 to join our Juniors as a firefighter and/or EMT, or an EMS first responder.  As a Junior you will be limited to the type of work you can do as per Department of Labor laws.
• If you are 18 and over you can also join as a firefighter and/or EMT, or EMS first responder.  If you are 45 years of age and under you can join the NJ State Firemen's Association.  Please click the link to learn more about the benefits of belonging to this organization.
• You will be required to take a physical at a doctor's office and have a background check done by our police department.
• If you join EMS, we ask that you be available to respond to calls: 
  • one night per week, Sunday through Friday between 9:00PM and 5:00AM, and; 
  • one Saturday every six weeks, starting 8:00PM until Sunday 8:00AM.
• If you elect to join fire, you will be asked to respond to emergencies when you are aware of them.
• You will be issued all the necessary equipment and training at no cost to you.
