Welcome to the Roxbury (NJ) Chemical Engine Co#1 Fire & EMS web site. We have been serving our community since 1917. Please click on the links on the left side of this page to learn more about us. Our members' ages range from cadets (16 year olds) to members who have served over 50 years and everywhere in-between. Some members perform fire suppression and rescue in the fire department; some are first-responders or EMTs who perform EMS duties; some members of the department perform both functions.
